Me and my friend stayed in Limehouse while on vacation and a British friend told us we had to try a full English breakfast but it had to be at a mom and pop type cafe. A block from where we stayed was Frank’s. We both loved it. They were both friendly. It’s a no frills place. It’s all about the food. We ate there about half the time we stayed in England which was almost a month. We both loved our coffee and tea as well. So different to what we get in CA and FL.

Never open… I work locally and now never really bother with this place. I’ve eaten there in the past and there is little foot traffic. Their opening times vary and are often late with closing times early; despite what Google says and the food is basic.

Then the two guys that run the place complain about no customers!! lol

There is a Cafe further toward the Troxy called Two Magpies. They are always open… often with a queue outside (So people are looking to eat guys!) A little more on price but you’re paying for quality. I recommend visiting there.

Ordered a bacon, egg and sausage sandwich. Staff was polite. Just heard the people cooking the food had to be told over and over, seemed a bit flustered. But food was OK 👍🏻

Friendly staff, quality food, big portions, good prices. What more do you want from a proper old school cafe?

Had an interview nearby and an hour to kill. Was very hungry and dropped in for a quick bite. I ordered a tea and sandwich. The sandwich was a beautiful, doorstop, fresh ham and cheese, delicious!!, couldn't eat it all in one sitting.
The guy that served me was friendly and welcoming.
Loved it, Set up my day!!!
