The Village Bakehouse

Love this place, a little out of the way,but well worth the traveling. The food is quality and always well cooked. The staff are lovely people and go out of thier way to be nice.

An excellent family run eatery, and a good variety of good fresh bread, happy friendly management, great during the summer months, as you can watch a game of grass roots cricket while eating

A brilliant little cafe. Went with our cycling club for lunch. Extremely accomodating. Food was delicious and served really quick to all 17 of us. Definitely going again.

Stopped for refreshment and dog walk. Service was delightful and food good.
Will use again.

We found it OK. Our first time. Breakfast wasn't great. Nice sausage. I'd go back for a sausage sarnie but my black pudding was hard. Way over cooked and we both had a still frozen hash brown. It's hard to make those hash browns nice but I would expect at least hot. Great coffee. It's in a very nice location with a country feel inside. Get the food right and it's an all round winner.

Excellent cafe that I have driven past for years.
But stopping I discovered a quality cafe serving ingredients that are obviously chosen for their quality.
The real coffee is excellent and strong.
The outdoor dog friendly area has seating so dry days are an extra treat here
I'm so glad me and Zach discovered this gem. 🙂
