Morrisons Cafe

Friendly helpful staff.
Unfortunately the restaurant is dirty.The menu holders needed a good wash tables dirty trays looked as though they had never been washed.
I was so appalled by the general hygiene of the place I am in two minds to report it to Staffordshire food hygiene department

Said it was open until 6pm. Arrived 5:25pm, me my wife and daughters.

Signs up saying no hot drinks served.

The pay screen displaying it had an error.

So went to the only till. No-one there, the till displayed lane closed.

Went to the table and scanned the QR code, this showed they didn't support online ordering.

Collared someone hiding in the kitchen. She said they were only serving sandwiches as they'd had a staff scheduling error. I'm assuming no-one in duty that could work the kitchen.

I get businesses have issues, especially currently. Just stick a sign up "closed" or "cold food only"

Come here a couple of times recently and every experience has been awful. The cafe is dirty, every high chair is filthy or have broken clips and the food isn’t good either. I was served meat when ordering vegetarian food, items missing off meals, burnt food and rock hard poached eggs. Used to be brilliant, such a shame it’s gone down hill this bad.

Horrible experience even for a cafe, the highchair was covered in old food, plus the straps look like they have never been cleaned at all, there was also old food stains on the floor and around the table, the food came without what it said it come with on the menu and generally wasnt very nice, used to enjoy eatting here, won't be trying again until serious improvement is made.

Barely anybody in and Service was appalling cashier took 20 minutes to take my order 1 meal came out 20 minutes before the rest.asked for sauces 4 times and got none.no staff coordination and the food was disgusting and uncooked

At about half past 4 we went to cafe for a meal, but when we got there the man at the café till that had to tell that there was absolutely no hot food and only drinks and the things that were out. There was no signs when you enter the café so after having spent 20 minutes deciding what to have we were only told when we got to the till. This was a disappointing experience and has put us off going again.

Went to the cafe in morrisons in leek and the food was burnt as I had a cheese burger and the bread it was served on was not a bap like in other café in morrisons. You can go to a local cafe and get the same thing and you know it will not been burnt and will be served on a bap.

Lovely food, only got one complaint if there's items on the breakfast u dont like u can swap for other thing s but they charge you 75p per item. Wetherspoons you can change items for free....morrisons should do the same.
