Staff were great! Very polite and lovely.
Mocha was ok, not the best.
Waited quite a while (too long in my opinion) for my cheesecake. I presume the reason for this was because it was still slightly frozen. Overpriced for the size of portion.

Excellent lunch there with a very dear friend. The staff are all absolutely lovely and the food is excellent. Definitely one of the nicest places to eat in the town.

We asked if the soup was homemade, the waitress checked and said it was. When it came it was obviously tinned tomato soup with a swirl of balsamic vinegar ontop with a rocket leaf. We sent the soup back and complained to the waiting staff who confirmed that no, they don't make it in house. They went to great lengths to say we wouldn't pay for the soup we hadn't eaten. £4.95 for a bowl of lukewarm tinned soup is a bit rich and very cheeky to try to pass it off as homemade. We left and had lunch elsewhere.

Placing our order was very difficult. We had to not only talk our dishes and show the numbers of the menu but repeat ourselves. I was disappointed to find eggs Benedict without a salmon option. And oh my why would you ever put oregano on it? The poached eggs themselves were excellent if a little snotty.
Having had the waitress argue with us the breakfast she was trying to give us was a cooked breakfast. We insisted no. We expect a vegetarian breakfast. She went away and came back and pointed out. Ah yes, this is the vegetarian breakfast.
Overall it was ok

Food was good, the only thing that doesn't give it a 5 star is that my breakfast was not as warm as I expected when it arrived, but it tasted great. A lovely cafe for that lazy morning you don't want to cook a fry up

Fantastic little place! Was busy when we went in but still a few tables to choose from, when ordering we were advised a 25 minute wait until it was ready which wasn't a problem and good that we were told at the time of order. Food was lovely, will definitely return next time we're in Rugby.
