Nice Breakfast At A Reasonable Price With Good Service

This has to be the worst experience at an M&S cafe, rude staff, using sour milk in our drinks and using white normal bread instead of sourdough without even mentioning it. When my sister asked for gluten free options they offered 2 soups and sent her to the foodhall to find sandwiches.

After numerous visits this cafe is terrible for running out of menu items and always same excuse. "It's been busy " Food management issues here and poor feedback not directed at staff. Slow service generally with one lane open and tables are often not cleared. Shame it's not being managed effectively as this could easily be the leading food go to cafe in Elliott's Field.

Very busy. 30 minute wait for food. £4:50 for tomato and basil soup. Received less than a child size portion.

Cafe has gone really down hill. They routinely only have one till open at lunch time on the weekend. The price is a bit steep compared to better offerings elsewhere. The service is generally really slow. No eggs and no sausages available either.
Was hoping it had improved since pre COVID but if anything it's worse now.

Called in to meet a friend for coffee and snack, seemed quick busy. But had large unorganised que, with only one person on till and serving. After ordering cofees and toasty. Had to wait ages for the items to arrive. Coffee seemed over priced. And average food. Average. Had to chase staff for the order. All very average. Not what you would expect from M&S. Disappointing.

Always good food and service although a bit slow sometimes, they do there best. Try the bacon roll it's lovely.

Very, very disappointing. Ham and cheese toastie had mustard inside. Melted cheese hot and greasey, the midlle only warm. The teapot? I will let you decide.... chipped lid and the spout was filthy. Looked as if it hadnt seen the inside of thevdishwasher. I thought it had been used and not washed. Didnt complain as there really is no point. Have been there once before and to other m&s cafes and they all seem to be the same. Cutlery washed in dishwasher and not dried so salt stained. I had to wash our cutlery with drinking water I took with me. Very sad!
