A dog friendly CAFE which serves excellent coffee and a good selection of options on the breakfast menu including vegetarian and vegan! My early morning dog walking now involves me taking in a hot coffee as The Retreat opens at 7:30 which is perfect for me. The staff are also friendly and welcoming especially to my dog Milo giving him a treat and always a bowl of water available. Well done The Retreat!

Been a couple of times for breakfast with friends. We have all said it is going to be our regular place for brekkie. Food is always good and filling. Service is exceptional, very friendly staff. We have been to several different places for breakfast and this is without doubt the best place in Bromsgrove. Keep up the good work guys!!

The Hotel was not offering breakfast so I opted to try and find somewhere that was open at 7.30 and came across this gem. The 2 gents serving and cooking were very friendly and the decor was more modern coffee shop than greasy spoon which was a refreshing change. I went for the big breakfast and it was certainly big in portion and flavour! One of the best English breakies I think I've ever had and the latte to wash it down was very welcome after the dodgy hotel coffee! Very pleased I found this place and will definitely come again next time I'm in this neck of the woods

New to the area so was looking for a place to do some work and have some proper food before the internet is installed at home. So many places in Bromsgrove didn’t offer Wi-Fi! Except for The Retreat. And all day breakfast! Brilliant. The team was amazing and sooo friendly. Lots of locals came in, gave a very homey vibe. Hoping to become one of the regulars too. 😁

Visited the Retreat today with my wife and 2 children and we all had breakfasts. Food was great, drinks were great too, service was prompt and staff really nice and friendly. Planning our next visit.

If I could give a higher rating I would. Absolutely love this cafe. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had, cooked to order and very fresh. The staff are exemplary and could not ask for better customer service. I now use the cafe every Friday to meet up with friends. Thank you for the amazing service and great food to start the day ❤️

Had a lovely full English breakfast. The best I’ve had in a long time. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
