Unfortunately we visited the cafe today (Team Blair roadtrip with my partner and 2.5 year old daughter) The service and acknowledgement that we were waiting for human interaction was non existent. We turned up at 12:20 when there were a few people inside but after numerous attempts to make eye contact we left.
I am sure service is usually good (as expected for a National Trust establishment) but the person behind the counter today was not present.

Bit odd not being able to order through the hatch and having to go outside. But I can understand that when it gets busy it would cause chaos if it wasn't done this way.
Other than that, them getting the drinks order wrong and the incredibly dirty floor, it was great!
