The Deanery

Four of us ate here yesterday. Our only gripe and we didn't bother to complain but probably should have done was for the two so called banana milkshakes. They were certainly not what anyone could describe as a proper milkshake and i'm no expert. Can't remember the cost of each one but between £2-£3. It was literally a glass of milk which wasn't very cold with something like a sweet banana flavoured syrup in it. YUK

We have breakfast here quite regularly....never had a bad meal 😋

Terrible Service!!
2 x breakfast came with Tea, asked to swap one for a cappuccino the lady said no she would have to charge extra, asked to swap tomatoes for black pudding again replied she would have to charge extra for that, found a hair in my sons plate, a real put off, when they redone his breakfast they didn't give us any new cutely so we asked for a new set which was chucked on the table, what is it these days, why can't you go somewhere and just get a good service and looked after like you would expect, I won't be going back here I'm sure there are better places to go to.

Dropped car in for service at the garage and thought I'd grab breakfast while I waited... Wandered around town and decided on the Deanery, partly due to the fact of it's quieter position and outside seating in the sun... It was a good decision... Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked to perfection, hot, very tasty local ingredients... Bought out some water for the dog, service quick and friendly... Faultless... Will be back next time we're in town 👍

Lovely food, great service, good prices.

Had a rather nice cheese and ham panini here. Tasted good and service was fast and efficient. Could have done with some mayo or salad cream on the side salad. Prices are very reasonable.

Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. Nice and clean. Welcoming and child friendly. Highly recommended!
