Mmmm… Delicious! Coffee was lovely too. The owner was very welcoming, nice guy. The service was good too, we had our drinks and food delivered at the same time. We went during a busy period and were able to find a table quickly. Only thing was that the poached eggs weren’t runny but that was not a problem for me and still enjoyed my meal. Will be going there again!

We managed to get a seat for the Tapas evening (there's only 4 this summer) after being on the waiting list and I'm really glad we had the opportunity. The food as always was a high quality affair - we shared four tapas and bread and that was plenty. The view from upstairs was glorious and the staff were efficient and attentive without being invasive. Had a really lovely evening.

Delicious food. Great gluten free options including a range of gluten free cakes. Tea is nice and hot, which makes a pleasant change compared to other establishments. Bart and the team provide excellent service and always welcome me by name. Gorgeous views of Ipswich Waterfront. Lovely to sit outside in the sunshine. Highly recommended.

Small but cosy coffee place. Amazing views through the windows. Outside and inside sitting areas. Have some heaters if you cold. Busy place and you can see why. We had tea with scones and it was delicious! good choice for teas and coffee's. Such a lush scones. It tasted like freshly baked. Excellent customer service. Competitive prices! Specially for cream tea. It was very busy, however, we spend hours and no one pressured to buy more or to get out 😁

Wow. What can I say. The pop up Tapas evening was superb from start to finish and absolutely faultless. Service and food top notch.
Usually served outside but as can happen on a UK summer evening wind and rain put a stop to that. We ate upstairs inside which was lovely. Large floor to ceiling windows and it was quite nice to be cosy inside whilst watching the wind and rain on the River Orwell
Everything you need to know about the menu is explained when you arrive. The dishes are all big enough to share and some come with bread to mop up all the delicious flavours..we wanted to order everything from the menu as it all sounded excellent.. but were advised to start of with 4 dishes between the 2 of us and see how we felt.. sound advice this was as the portions are generous and you'll want to eat every last mouthful.
To begin we had complimentary olives which were infused with green chilli. Great quality and tasty.
The large grilled prawns with garlic and chilli were cooked to perfection and sweet.
The mixed meats and manchego cheese came with warm bread and 4 bowls of delicious condiments. Homemade garlic mayo,  tomato with olive oil and garlic,  thick balsamic glaze and tasty olive oil.

The chicken dish was succulent pieces of chicken that fell of the bone with crispy chicken skin delicately flavoured with chilli. Like a pimped up roast chicken.  The chorizo cooked in cider came with lentils and a soft fried egg on top again plenty more bread to mop up all the lovely sauces.
The timing of each dish was perfect clearly these guys know what they're doing. Empty plates taken away promptly. Attentive and really personable service.
The wine was good and beers served in chilled glasses from the freezer to keep it super cold.
We took a pause as wanted to order more.. but were beaten..well we made room to share a pastel de nata and chocolate caramel cake with a perfect black coffee.
An excellent evening. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes we didn't have room for.
We couldn't leave a tip as didn't have cash only card and enjoyed it so much I visited the next day just to drop off the missing tip. I would've had another coffee and cake but they weren't any free tables. Another day for sure.
What a gem of a place,  LOVED IT! I

If you don't know of this place and you're in Ipswich, do yourself a favour and give it a try. Staff great, owner always so welcoming and the food.... yeah. Looks pricey, but my word is it worth it. The breakfasts are to die for. The Full monty breakfast muffin will fill you up nicely and leave you ready for the day. Lovely to sit outside on a warm day, but equally inside as they have a few tables overlooking the marina. Great for people watching and drinking good coffee!
