We had such a lovely afternoon at the Quay, we took a picnic and then went to the little shop for an ice cream. There are benches dotted along the river edge and just over the bridge there are picnic tables next to a lovely little park. The shop usually closes around 6pm but they do stay open if it’s busy, the shop has some tables & chairs both inside and outside for customers to sit at. There is a block of public toilets but when we walked past at 6pm they were closed so it’s worth checking in advance what the opening times are.

Very clean, pleasant a quiet place to enjoy Sunday morning in the park with family. Also well equipped play area and coffeeshop nearby. Has slipway, not sure if it's free

A very pleasant area to look around with the river and boats in view, nice coffee and ice cream café with toilets available for the public, including showers if needed and several seat's to sit down

Great place to sit-relax - walk. Coffee good, ice cream good. Toilets need a cleaner as some people that use them are not right in the head.

Lovely spot to have a stroll or sit. Ice cream etc with toilets and lots of cheap parking over the river.

Nice place to visit. Just sit and chill, whilst watching the boats come and go.
