Smileys Cafe

we have been stopping here for many, many years on our way to Cornwall. have not been since Covid but we are all so looking forward to the best breakfast in a few weeks on our first holiday for 3 years. My granddaughter is more excited about her breakfast at Smileys that the actual holiday I think. Looking forward to seeing you all in 4 weeks

Cafe itself was brilliant parked up for the night in my lorry decent facilities available although there were a group of youngsters going around the trucks to see what was in them so advise leaving a back door open over night to save having curtains cut

This was a review I was putting in about a Costa cafe in Plymouth had a phone call then the review ended up going on the smilies cafe don't know why. BUT NEVER SEEN LONG QUEUES AT SMILIES WHEN STOPPING FOR THE LOO. Apologies Chris
Called to get coffee long queue after 10 minutes hardly moved either not enough staff or very slow calculated would be another 20 to 25 minutes to get served so left!

We only stopped for a quick coffee and toilet stop but ended up with hot BLT sandwiches and homemade rock cakes which were delicious, staff really friendly and prices were reasonable, if we are down that area again we definitely will be stopping.

Great food and clean place but £2 for a cup of tea, it's a portacabin not the ritz, normal folk go here not the wealthy toffs, food prices are OK

Used to be great here but now basic few items on breakfast and add what you want. Caused me to forget bits I wanted on my breakfast that normally comes standard. They Forgot my toast I was underwhelmed and couldn't be bothered to complain. Ate up and left. Won't be rushing back.

Very quick service great food fantastic staff thank u Ruth & Karen definitely recommend this cafe to anyone
