Dropped into The Old Shed for a quick lunch with my Dad. We hadn't been before but it had been recommended by friends a while ago. We found a table outside (probably at least 15 tables set up and the same again inside) and I popped inside to order. I was warmly greeted by the 3 young people behind the counter. We both chose a light lunch - Cornish crab on sourdough with truffle fries and a couple of soft drinks. Food was brought to our table in about 10 minutes and was very tasty. Staff, service and food were all excellent. Looks to be very popular for families (I think it has some farm animals - some hens were walking around whilst we ate - and a disc golf course as well!). I'll definitely return. Thanks!

Had breakfast here a couple of days ago and it was lovely. The big breakfast had about 5 slices of bacon which was a bit too much to
Be honest but the poached eggs and avocado was great. Decent coffee and green tea as well. Don’t think it’s dog friendly inside but they have a covered outside area which is

Great find it maybe called The Old Shed but it defiantly wasn't old or a shed. The were plenty of tables available both inside and out on the October Monday we visited. The menu together with the specials of the day provided an excellent choice with dishes to suit all 4 of us. The food arrived quickly good portions and great quality. The restaurant toilets and surrounding area was spotless always a good sign of staff who care about their workplace and the customer experience.

Bit of a lot down, staff were miserable. We only wanted hot drinks and cakes but had to wait 20 mins outside for the order to come out rather than just being served, (it wasn't busy). When they brought it out, cakes were missing so we had to go back to counter. They had run out of cakes by that point and had to refund us.

I won't be back.

Absolute gem of a place, walked our dog around the woodland before enjoying a full English and poached egg on toast for my wife. Lovely facilities and friendly staff.. and lovely food. And dogs allowed a huge bonus.
