The High Street Cafe

The scones here are some of the best I’ve had in the U.K. a definite recommend for afternoon tea. At a much more affordable price then the other offerings along the same road.

Cozy cafe in the center of Oxford with beautiful view.
I visited it in December. Was cold inside, I didn't take of my coat.
Coffee is strong (as I like) and tasty.
Crepes can be better... Unfortunately the crepes has no taste. Only because of banana, syrup and ice-cream it was tasty.
The stuff was friendly.
Actually I like this place, but it can be better. That's why not 5⭐.

The meals are big and very tasty. Highly recommended for everyone around Oxford.

Tables are really dirty and when I was sited lady wiped it of with her BARE hand swiping all crumbs on to the floor.
We left the caffe straight after as I was concerned about the cleanness of this place and didn’t want to place the order.

One waiter was about 14 years old, probably just learning, but it took very long to bring the order. I really don't understand why they place their orders in a computer in such a small Café. Espresso tasted lousy, but the flapjack was OK.

Lovely small cafe, with very warm and nice staff. Ordered the Nutella crepe, which was super tasty and a good size. The woman gave us ice cream on the side with our crepe when asked also. Great customer service and really good desserts, would recommend.

Excellent reception
There was a group of us. We came here after being recommended by a friend and we were not dissapointed.
The crepes here are to die for and the breakfast ( eggs benedict deluxe )
Will be returning next week
