Lovely little find. The food was lovely. Had a very tasty club sandwich and the cakes on offer are fabulous. Service was a little slow but not enough to put me off visiting again. Coffee was tasty enough. Toilets very clean but had to go upstairs to get to them although i did spot one down stairs for people with limited mobility. Would visit again.

I often meet friends here for breakfast and it’s usually really good food and service. I can’t help thinking things are slipping a bit though. We went for breakfast and were asked what we would like to drink before we even sat down. However, we then waited over half an hour before anyone even asked us if we would like to order food - in fact they didn’t ask us - we had to flag someone down to ask them to take our order while the people on the next table who arrived well after us, were placing their order. It wasn’t at all busy - there were maybe 4 tables occupied. The food was less than amazing. I had the eggs Benedict which I’ve really enjoyed there before. Today it was bland and dry with no butter on the muffin and the poached eggs were hard rather than runny. A bit of a disappointment. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I don’t think we’ll be rushing back.

Having checked local places around Mapperley where we could get early Sunday morning breakfast, we found Copper open from 9am. Having phoned ahead to make certain, we were the first arrivals, just after 9am. It was really nice to see smiling, helpful staff who were helpful in advising on the breakfast menu - an Full English and a salmon omelette. The black Americano was very good, as was the decaf latte with oat milk (almond and soya also available).....food was good and it was an overall nice experience and way to start Sunday.

Had our wedding reception party at Copper, the buffet was first class and the staff were efficient and friendly. Jess the manager was brilliant.
Thank you so much, our wedding day was perfect xxx

Went for brunch on our mother/daughter day out.
Good choice of food. Very friendly staff. We chose pancakes and bacon and added our choice of sides (mushroom/hash browns)
Good service and very reasonable price
Didn't feel rushed at all and felt quite at ease to take our time and chat after food whilst drinking our tea .

Not been for a while. Seems to have changed hands. Liked the new menu options. Not very busy, but took about 10 minutes to be served. Chose Mac n cheese - tasted like out of a can & the broccoli on top was over cooked. Plus portion was very small. Husband had hunter chicken - same issue with broccoli & the chicken was also too well done & dry. What a shame, used to enjoy coming here. Plus… very pungent smell - like sewage in eating area!

Had a lovely time here with my friend. Lovely staff and food. Rating not reduced by a slight delay with the food - staff dealt with it superbly. Highly recommended

Absolute embarrassment. Walked in at 10am. One table seated. The rest of the place was empty. Turned down because they could not accommodate a pushchair because someone had “reserved” the only 2 tables where a pushchair could be accommodated. No offering of making any changes to fit us in, looked at us with a blank face and let us walk back out into the rain without even an apology. Shambles, words can’t describe how disappointed we are. I wouldn’t step foot back in that place if you paid me.
