This is a beautiful little tea room. It is quaint, clean, and has the most welcoming staff, of any tea room I have been to.
Can I recommend,scrambled egg and beans on toast with a sprinkling of mature cheddar cheese on the top. With a fresh slice of carrot cake to finish. And a large pot of tea.

Nice food and tea but I went in at 3pm and was definitely made clear to that I had to have something light and easy as they were closing at 4.... asked me to pay up mid food so cashing up could be done 25 mins before. My son and his partner akso happened to see me and popped in while passing at 3.20. They were looking for a bite to eat but were told they couldn't really get anything to eat as it was too late. I will not bother going again as I didn't feel welcome, just an inconvenience

Hi visited here as you can't come to Harrogate without visiting Betty's Tea Rooms. I had the tea with fruit scone jam and cream. There are two areas to eat. The first is on the ground floor where you are seated and you visit the counter to place and pay for your order and go back to your seat and wait for it to arrive.

The Tea Room is such a lovely place to be. It's cosy, friendly and very good value for money. The staff here are nothing short of superb & it's clear they want you to enjoy your time here. Oh, & the portions are MASSIVE!

Nice friendly staff.did not eat but the cakes all looked fabulous and the simple menu was more than adequate for a light lunch.inexpensive cup of tea aswell.will return.

My daughter surprised me with afternoon tea here...it was lovely, beautifully presented and really gorgeous tableware. Friendly staff and clean disabled toilet too.
