The Good Bean Priors Hall Park

A lovely cafe that opened recently. The coffee is good and the cakes are tasty! On a Sunday from 10-2pm they do proper American Diner pancakes and other brunch things too - with all the proper American syrups, "just like an ihop". This is a good place to bring young children too, and there is a table outside for when the weather is nice.
There is a carpark that is small and a bit tricky to access!

We took away an afternoon tea for a family get-together. Our family has vegetarians, nut allergies and generally fussy eaters. To Bridget, none of this was a problem.

A selection of sandwiches - fillings of our choice on superb bread - everybody commented. Savouries were delicious. One of the best sausage rolls I have eaten in a while plus a caramelised onion quiche. Scones with clotted cream, jam and strawberries were perfect.

Our 'no nuts' feast was completed with a lemon drizzle cake augmented with a few raspberries and a coffee and walnut sponge.

As Bridget pointed out, we had plenty of food for our number.

We had expected to pay about 50% more than was on the invoice. First class food and brilliant value.

Stopped at The Good Bean to kill some time with a Latte and Cake... The homemade cakes are amazing as is the service. Relaxed ambience with tables, chairs and sofas too. Prices very reasonable and slices of cake generous. Highly recommended.

A great cafe for lunch, good coffee and toasted sandwiches plus jacket potato and salads. Friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Jacket Potatoes are amazing. Great value for money, meaning you can afford a cheeky slice of cake too!!

It's the place for a Sunday lunch after Church service. The pancakes are very good.
