First visit here last week and we've booked again for this week. The Sidings has a lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. The food is absolutely delicious, with excellent portions at very good prices. There are lovely home bakes to be tempted by too. Well worth a visit.

This place offered the holy grail - a really delicious, high quality afternoon tea. It was hands down the best I've had - in fact, my 11-year-old said it was the best *food* he's ever had.

Firstly, the welcome and service was warm and friendly, and the setting on a train felt super special. Then, the food - each person got their own plate of sandwiches and savoury bites; all were extremely flavoursome. The accompanying cake stand was filled with deliciousness - from a wicked Bailey's mousse to delightful tarts to scones with homemade jam.

We come to the area every year - we've never been to The Sidings before, but we will 100% make a pilgrimage here annually from now on.

Had a cream tea on the train and the food was beautiful. So much so that after the train ride we went into the coach for more and will be returning before the end of our holiday. Definitely recommend it both for the food and wonderfully accommodating staff. We will certainly return in the future.
This is one railway that needs supporting.

Fantastic from start to finish. Lovely local
welcome, and a really charming atmosphere. Food was faultless, simple hearty food that was bursting with flavour. The tattie soup (with oatcakes) transported me back to being a kid an sampling my Auntie's for the first time... delicious! Dog friendly too. 👍🏻🙂

Brilliant little cafe, with an atmosphere all of its own. A little off the main tourist routes but well worth the detour if your unfamiliar with the area. Located at the old Dufftown railway station, a stones throw from the Glenfiddich Distillary and with free easy parking. Really welcoming staff and cakes to die for, what more could you want

Stopped for lunch here when visiting my brother. Sat outside first time with 3 dogs and they received treats and lots of attention. Had the quiche of the day and it was delicious. Plus a cake and tea. Lovely service and great value for money. So good, we went back the next day and sat inside - left the dogs with my brother.
