Bala was very busy, lots of traffic and plenty of people about, to be expected on a Bank Holiday weekend.
After passing a few places on the other side of lake, I decided to try The Lakeside Cafe.
The road is a bit uneven and can be a bit tricky to navigate on a motorbike as was parking too, but did so without incident.
I was looking forward to a Nice cooked breakfast after a 2 hour ride on bike, but arrived a little late as Breakfast stop being served at 11.30am.
I was offered a Breakfast Bap instead, which was a welcome compromise and enjoyable.
The friendly service and views over lake made the visit worthwhile.
Well worth a visit, plenty of seating, inside and out, parking too.
Prices were reasonable in my opinion.
Look forward to visiting again next time I'm in the area.

I was in a group of 5 adults with dogs , we were welcomed by a lovely friendly witty lady called Linda. The chef also popped to see us or maybe to see our dogs 🤭 . I chose a breakfast bap, which was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for our food, which was freshly cooked. The lake view full breakfast which some of the group had looked fab too. The dogs had complimentary sausage, which they approved of!! Fantastic views of the lake Bala too. What a lovely place to find, if only we found it sooner rather than on our way home. Excellent place to end our trip! Thanks 😊

Lovely breakfast before heading home after a good holiday in bala and surrounding area. Linda was an amazing welcoming lady. Very friendly and loved the three doggies we had with us. She gave them all a sausage! Food was very fresh and service was brilliant. Views are spectacular. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside!

Location is gorgeous, drove 30 minutes. Navigation was perfect. Food is drop dead gorgeous and tastes amazing! Portions are great and staff were very friendly. Facility and seating is amazing and very well kept care off. Menu and options are great! Something for everyone to visit. The views are perfect whilst eating a yummy meal or some ice cream!

Fantastic full English breakfast just had. Proper butchers sausages and fresh produce. Very clean kitchen too. Shame about the sailers who don't seam to have any manners and blocked the carpark off for customers to drive in but fantastic location and prices. The staff seam very nice too and I get the impression they actually love their job 😊

Excellent location overlooking lake Bala. Friendly staff and good food. Big breakfast with lovely coffee. Seems a great pity that it appears that the sailing club, who own the building, have decided to close this business down in September 2022. Cutting off nose to spite the face appears relevant

Stumbled across this place by accident on our way to Porthmadog on holiday. Welcomed by lovely staff and had a great breakfast. Would highly recommend. We have decided to make it our first breakfast stop on our way home Saturday.

Normally stop at the Loch Cafe across the water when I'm heading out this way on the motorbike. But decided to give this place a try today. It is a gravel car park so can be bit tricky for the bikes ( parking and moving around ) in a car no bother at all. Cafe is situated above the sailing club so you get a lovey view of Bala Lake. Great place to sit and watch people on the water in their boats. Nice little
Breeze off the Water was nice but I'm guessing in colder days this can be very cold. Indoor and outdoor seating. Only had tea and toast and both were nice. Slightly more pricey than some
Of the cafes but it was a welcome stop.
