Lovely friendly staff, even though we arrived with only a few minutes to spare before last food orders, they were happy to make us sandwiches, which were scrummy!

Wonderful idea of having the bird books on the table allowing you the opportunity to identify the local wildlife, as you enjoy the view over the bay.

Would highly recommend. Not only for the food and staff, but for the RSPB it represents.

What a brilliant place for cup of tea and first class piece of cake after a walk across the barriage. Savoury dishes look good too. The coffee is also a proper.

Nice little café, good choice of food and beverage, reasonable price.
Fabulous views across the bay.

A real gem of a cafe! Looks can certainly be deceiving: from the outside you see what is, basically, a modest former shipping container - although tastefully painted in distinct orange paint. Can't really miss it if walking the 'Barrage. Inside is a really friendly, relaxing cafe with a warm welcome. The coffee was superb, piping hot and plentiful. Would put many corporate cafes to shame. The sandwiches looked and tasted simply define and as for the tea cake - amazing. And impressive views of the Barrage thrown in for good measure. Certainly will recommend and do not be put off by first impressions.

A great experience yesterday. Quick service from 2 lovely ladies, coffee scones butter and jam £10. Great views of the barrage too. Will call again when visiting Cardiff Barrage.

The attitude of one of the workers there was disgusting! I popped in with my autistic little brother for a quick drink and my brother asked the worker if there was toilets as he was busting for a wee and the worker said they was out of order (which I understand because things break) so my brother sat down as he needed the toilet and then we heard the same worker slagging my brother of to other customers (my entire family heard her ) . That is out of order !! I won’t be coming anywhere near the place again if they do that to disabled people ! , it’s a lovely place don’t get me wrong but maybe they should train there staff not to be rude !!

Nice cafe on the Cardiff Barrage. Run by the RSPB. Had a lovely homemade soup and there was a good range of cakes too. Nice stop off during our walk.

Dry horrible Victoria sponge cake. Must have been sat there for days. But was a large slice! Cappuccino was tasteless. Wouldn't go there again
