This was the car park we used when attempting Snowdon for the first time. There were plenty of spaces available when We arrived at 12:00. We paid £10 for over five hours, you can pay by card which is a big bonus. They also sell maps inside the rangers cabin for £5 or £9 depending on how much you want from your map. We opted for the £5 map which got us to the top in one piece with little difficulty.

You need to check if this place is open or not. I came out of the mountains today gasping for a cool beverage but, at 1430hrs, the csfe was shut! Quite a few others around a bit disgruntled by this as well. It is the end of May after all and tourists and climbers need their sustenance😯 Someone is missing a trick here. On the other hand, the Moel David cafe in Capel Curig (£2 on the bus from Pen-y-Pass...take the S2) is a great substitute and cheaper😊 Good to see that the car park takes credit cards now though.

This is a wonderful little restaurant with comfortable seats, working restrooms, and acceptably priced food. There is both indoors and outdoor seating, depending on the elements. The real draw of this shop is that it acts as the base camp for climbing the three nearby peaks. Even if you don't want to summit the peaks, the valley lakes are also beautiful, and easily walk-able.

Good choice of hot pastries, sandwiches and drinks (tasty milkshakes too), friendly staff, reasonable price.
Indoor seating was closed.

Stopped in here after a long hike up Miners Track on a rainy day. Cute room overlooking the mountains and lots of books to tuck into. Spent 30 pounds on food, drink, and merchandise. At the end of my visit, one of the staff members came over and reprimanded me for taking a few bites of a granola bar. No outside food? Fair enough. But after I'd just spent 30 pounds at the cafe when most people would drop 3 quid on a coffee, seemed pretty galling and deliberately petty. Won't be back.

I bought two sandwiches from here, which were both generously filled and reasonably priced considering the location. Friendly and efficient service. Card accepted. Would recommend.

Beautiful walks with stunning scenery with mini fountains gushing from the side of the paths. Lovely lakes and mountains. £10 all day parking and a lovely cafe. Was extremely windy when we visited in late December so be prepared with waterproof and windproof clothing as well as same footwear. ABSOLUTELY NO RECEPTION...... This was the most frustrating thing.
