A Star Cafe

So friendly since we started going there once a week on Wednesdays our other cafe closed, but this cafe is homely the same .there are usually seven of us meet, have met for at least twenty years.slimmers world girls ex and still on going. We enjoy the friendlyness. Wonderful atmosphere where you won't feel uncomfortable when you are alone, like most cafe. I'd even go to town and get off work n Albany Rd to have a coffee there. Yes I give full marks try it also serve wonderful food.xx

Great little Café with outdoor seating. Very comfortably laid out with sofas and easy chairs besides the usual tables and chairs, it has an air of luxury. Had a breakfast, nicely cooked with minimum oil. I'll be back to try out something else on the menu before long. And, very friendly owner.
Update; I've been there a few times since my original review. Consistant well cooked food, ideally placed to pop in whilst shopping on Albany Road.A few yards up side street from Post Office.

Had two good breakfasts previously but the past two have been poor. The eggs were way overdone. Black pudding thin and broke apart
Fried bread overcooked and had an unpleasant taste.

Lovely cafe, delicious food and a very polite gentleman

Service here is second to none, friendly, efficand nothing is too much trouble
Food is good, and very reasonably priced. Place is clean and tidy

I used to order really often. My last time, today, I’m sure I’m not gonna order again!
My pancakes was burnt, my food was really cold and the pot of “syrup” was literally nothing..
I’m really disappointed. You don’t deserve my 10 pounds for this awful food.

What can I say other than absolutely delicious, ordered 2 Full Welsh breakfast and neither disappointed us, eggs runny, lush, fried bread perfect, sausages tasty, bacon not salty, definitely our new breakfast takeaway. Delivered by deliveroo, fast and hot, perfection.
