This goes down as a 5 star for me. Now I have to say the food is great but not fantastic. The sourdough, the bacon were excellent. That bread was toasted perfectly - crisp but not hard. The bacon is one of the rare few I’ve tried in the UK where it is still moist and not dry. The award-winning sausages are passable and the harsh browns are as bad as they get - soggy and hard at the bottom. But what pushes this place over the top is the whole setup. The place is beautiful in my opinion. The setting by the beach makes it an ideal place to hang out and read. It is children and dogs friendly and while I was there, they added for the most adorable sights. I was alone and didn’t have time to try the cakes but they do look delightful. As an outsider, not from Cardiff, I would definitely make the drive again to eat and hang out here. The surrounding area with the amusement park, mini-golf and game arcades just add a whole out-of-this-world feel.

Really nice coffee and some gorgeous cakery. Comfortable range of seating indoors and out, with a whole section set aside as dog friendly (doors on left as you approach). Nice friendly counter service and orders brought to table. Very busy at peak times but still worth the visit; another quality Barry Island destination.

Edit July '22: Currently operating one door for entry and the other for exit. Dogs still welcome, staff still lovely, and coffee still good 👍

One of the best brunch places in the location. They have wide variety of options to choose from, excellent in taste, and the service is great too. Definitely coming back here for the wonderful food.

Popped in for a quick brunch. The food was delicious and filling! The order was prepared very quickly and we did not have to wait for long. Extremely happy with the service! Everyone must visit this place when visiting Barry Island 👍🏻

Lovely place to safely grab a coeliac meal. My husband and I both went for a breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised that my sausage and bread (gluten free) tasted so good. The waiter was very informed about the cross contamination safety methods they have in place and made me feel really comfortable eating there.

Lovely atmosphere with super friendly staff. Had the vegetarian breakfast and it was really filling and nicely cooked. Gets busy and can't book ahead but worth a wait for a table.

I absolutely love this place, great food and service is pretty quick too!

I've visited just for a quick coffee and also for birthday breakfasts, because it just feels very intimate and cosy. Love it!
