Very disappointing. A stale scone with runny warm clotted cream. I paid £17 for 2 sandwiches. The ham sandwich was luncheon meat and my husbands prawns were warm with runny pink water mayo. Staff appearance was poor and had an overall unclean feel to it. We got a refund.

Well, that was a surprise! We arrived just before 12:00 and the place looked deserted. However it was open. The space inside was effectively, if inefficiently, taken up by 2 customers. There were lots of picnic tables and two cabins outside. Would be lovely on a warm day or if dressed for outdoors. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and extremely well presented. Service was prompt which was good as we were on way to ferry. Before we left the outside area was well populated. Overall a good experience.

If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go. Called on way to ferry terminal and unfortunately had to leave before meals were ready. Obviously a place for a leisurely coffee!

I have wanted to visit Coffee Cups cafe for a while, but was always in the area after they had closed. Finally got my chance last weekend and I was not disappointed! Friendly, accomodating staff, lovely food and plenty of it and a nice shelter to sit in and enjoy it with our three dogs. Thank you Coffee Cups, we will be back!

We called in here after a walk around as I had read the other reviews and thought it sounded worth trying. I was not disappointed, as the weather was very changeable we opted to sit inside rather than at one of many outside spots in the garden. Immediately on entering we found ourselves in a charming, tiny room with a counter area and attractive original fireplace. We checked we were ok to come in with our dog and both the girls at the counter affirmed we could. We went into a small room with three tables and looked at the menu which, considering the size of the place (everything is tiny) was very extensive. I opted for Barra Brith and a latte while my partner went for Welsh Rarebit and a loaded hot chocolate. Whilst we were there, the owner, Claire, came in to give our dog a fuss and brought her a bowl of water and a few treats. She sat and chatted about dogs for a while until other customers came in needing her attention. We enjoyed our visit to Coffee Cups, we both enjoyed what we had, everyone there were very friendly and we will definitely make a return visit whilst we are here.

Wonderful gem of a cafe! Lovely decor, friendly staff and tasty homemade food. Dog friendly inside and outside as well which is a huge bonus :)

Just the place after a walk through the coastal park. Good range of light lunches, drinks and cakes. Eat in or out, including Wendy houses to shelter from the inevitable rain. Dog and kid friendly. Sign says open Fri-Mon.
