I was so please to find this genuine down to earth honest cafe, on my journey through Wales. Unpretentious honest food, friendly and efficient staff. A simple bacon egg and chips meal. Perfectly cooked. Crisp fluffy golden chips, a beautifully cooked fried egg and thick wonderfully juicy bacon. Comfort and happiness! and very reasonable prices. Also the daily dinner meal of beef steak and veg looked wonderful. Well done, and thank you for your hospitality.

The best bacon I've ever had, amazingly tasty breakfast and also a real bargain. I go out of my way to normally try and visit when in the area.

Brilliant proper breakfast, early open extensive menu. Luckily we got there just before the fire brigade ordered 30 bacon rolls. Cash only but cashpoint literally 90seconds away.

Have always loved a breakfast here. Staff are so lovely and you are never rushed to get out. I ordered not long before they were due to close and even though I wasn't finished when they were due to close, they let me carry on at my own pace.

Really Welsh café, not for tourists, but farmers and other locals. I love the cooked breakfast, but yesterday I had Faggots and mushy peas, with mash potatoes. Mae'n blasus iawn. Fi'n hoff caffi yn y dre.

Traditional caff, none of your barista nonsense😁, but in a cold day, tea, a rather milky hot chocolate and a plate of delicious chips was fine.
