Had a lovely lunch consisting of cauliflower curried pakoras, salad, chips and soft drinks. Plenty more items on the menu and on the board. Comfortable seating inside or outside, great service, good food well presented and reasonably priced...will go again...pop along and try it!

We are both gluten free so choose this place as it had lots of options. When we arrived and asked it turned out most of the gluten free options were actually fried in with gluten products so we're not suitable for coeliacs. The waitress was very helpful in figuring out what we could have but in the end it meant we had a lot fewer options.

Once the food did arrive it was a bit of a mixed bag. All of it was OK but only my starter was actually good. The main was very oily and served with a side salad that was doused in dressing so far too heavy with the other fried food.

The atmosphere was nice and the servers helpful but unfortunately I can't give it more than a three star review.

Edit: to add on following the owners reply. We did tell the server about the feedback on the food and she said she would pass it I on to the chef. Also she did not say there was a separate frier for GF we were told there was only one frier afte she came to check with the kitchen. If that is the case then we would have been happy to have those items as the risk would have been very minimal. It would be good if the servers were clear on the situation and could explain this to customers.

Excellent food and staff very helpful and friendly. Six of us ordered a variety of dishes and all of us said it was the best food we have had all week.

Exceptionally good! We stopped by for lunch on a very hot, very busy day and these guys were awesome.

Warm welcome, explained a limited menu and took great care of us from beginning to end.

Food was really, really outstanding. Well prepared and presented. Great quality too. And they did brilliant GF options. Inexpensive too.

Running out of superlatives, so get yourselves down there and enjoy.

Just be aware (if you're new to the area) that the restaurant is next to / beyond the pub, so don't get the two mixed up.

Highly recommended!.

You must visit this wonderful place if you are anywhere near Solva. We visited on Saturday evening and despite them being busy, we received excellent service and even better food. Our daughter had the best kids meal we've been served - an outstanding carbonara. The squid, pakoras and linguine were all wonderful too. Top marks guys and thanks

We were very much looking forward to dining in the restaurant. The menu looked good and the reviews were also very good and, to be fair, the food itself, was actually pretty good. However, what was completely unacceptable was the behavior of one of the kitchen staff. When we arrived, we were very politely greeted by 2 young ladies and a very angry and sweary kitchen staff member. During the meal, said member of the kitchen staff invited a number of his friends into the restaurant to supply them with bottles of alcohol, clearly without any form of payment. He left the door open and was heard to say that he would be in prison the next day when he finally left. When we thought things couldn't get worse, 2 extremely drunk people turned up and tried to get food late in the evening. Rather than turn them away, the staff engaged with them for about 20 minutes, before we finally had enough and left. It is simply not acceptable to ask diners to put up with this.

So good, we’ve booked again for later in the week. Lovely Sunday lunch with the family. Nice atmosphere, dog friendly and food served quicker than many a McDonalds! Well done chaps :)

Fantastic New Years Day brunch. I choose the buttermilk pancakes with bacon & syrup which were delicious! The atmosphere, staff and quality of food were excellent. Highly recommend but make sure you book.
