Empire Cafe

Visited here for the first time today.
It's a nice little cafe, found on pontyptidd road just after the zebra crossing.
The food is good value and worth the money, the decor is of the welsh culture and vintage, however it was quiet in the cafe (no music or telly) but I suppose that reinforces the art of conversation between customers.
Have previously also had bacon baguette takeaways from here before which were nice.
It's a little treasure found in Porth I definitely recommend this place.

Those homemade Steak pie is very meaty and tasty 😉👍

Came to pontypridd working and all I can say is this is the best cafe ever! Piping hot food. Great size portions and great prices. The staff are really lovely too. If im ever down this way again. 100% ill be there

Amazing breakfast in here today. Great price for a standard breakfast which was pretty big! Also came with a hot drink for under a fiver.
Fast service and friendly staff.
My only negatives are no card payments and tables are pretty small
