The Old Post Cafe & Takeaway

Really tasty and well-presented food from a wide menu choice. I have purchased meals to be delivered to my workplace more than half a dozen times in the past couple of months. Ordering via telephone or online is simple. Recommended.

My lasagne was well over done to the fact it was burnt only bit edible was the middle ,hardly any chips and gave me salad when I clearly said no salad .when I phoned I was told these a pre cooked and frozen but you should always be checking what your serving up .I sent pics of my food to.your face book which have been read but not one comment back . Yes I was offered another one but I been put right off .

The cafe has completed a full renovation and updated menu.

From full breakfast, home made main means,fresh salads, baguette, jacket Potato's and our delicious Sunday lunch!

I have been in wales for 10yrs I have been to plenty of food places and this one is the best by far I live in treharbert and so the old post cafe on Facebook thought I wud give it ago and wow wot a great place great food big portions it’s a family run Business they are all very friendly there’s a young lady who works there teenager she’s very polite always making sure the food and everything is ok the Sunday dinners are to die for the lasagna is fantastic the food is always piping hot the man who makes the food is 😮 just amazing this is my eating out place in the daytime keep up the good work old post cafe

Ordered 2 cooked dinners, a kids meal, 2 brownies & 2 sandwiches.
Waited an hour and a half to ring for them to say that they'd ran out of the kids dinner we'd ordered and do we want something else, then we were told it'd be leaving on 5 minutes. 40 minutes later we ring again to be told its on the way... 25 minutes later, food arrives, we paid £35 for a kids sausage dinner.
The two roast dinners & bottle of Coke was missing.
Rang again to say the dinners were missing, was told they were put in the bag and that they'll phone the driver to turn around.... 45 minutes later, no dinners, no refund.
Avoid at all costs.

Couple times ordered from there now and delivery been over 1 hour and 40 mins especially when they are only 5 mins away from the house.

1st order was missing all our drinks and desserts.

2nd time ordering rang waited 1.30mins then no sign rang again said 5 mins another 45 mins wait food was cold.

3rd order asked for cheese an onion baguette and all the cheese was melted I orders a salad thinking you couldn't go wrong with a salad and no taste very bland and even sauce had no flavour.

Ordered breakfast and they were disgusting toast was black both times ordering them bacon very over cooked

Very disappointed. Girls working there are good as gold just appalling delivery service and food isn't great.

The service on the phone was good, very polite. The food was excellent, very tasty. Just a small mistake. We asked for 1 dinner without Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and boiled potatoes but that didn't happen.

We have food from here once a week the last twice we have had it the breakfast the toast was black egg was over cooked it was unbeatable... I ask for cheese and onion baguette they toasted the cheese and there was ten chips in there my daughter had salad and could not eat it as the salad was all soggy this not acceptable when we pay for food and is unable to eat it
