Brown's Cafe

Was very excited for this after a recommendation from a friend. Someone was very lazy in the kitchen. Nearly raw chips, microwaved chicken pie, ham and cheese toastie was cold and massive chunks of onion in the salad.
Very disappointed, hope it was a one off.

Delicious mega breakfast, fantastic service.
Opened at 9, but door was open a bit earlier, and we were made very welcome even though was early. Lovely view of the garden from the outdoor seating area. Also allowed a little swapping of breakfast items. Fab place.

By far the best fish and chips we've had. Beautiful tasty cod, delicious light and crispy batter and lovely curry sauce! Would highly recommend, what a gem of a place with it's retro charm and friendly staff.

The people are good 😊 they do not eat the food before you can do not jump out the window they got the battered chicken nuggies that the poor cement flavoured nuggies some one smells of feet in the other booth very cool seating and outdoor plastic chairs

Absolutely lovely staff, dog friendly and gorgeous homecooked food in a nice retro cafe, and reasonably priced with a varied menu, what more can we ask for! definitely a place we will visit again when we are here.
