Morrisons Cafe

Had an awful experience here early morning.
Walked freely in (no barrier) at 7.15am, the store was open so assumed the cafe was as well. All lit up and looked open. Served myself from the machine as is required here (I wasn't challenged). Went to pay and was told they didn't open until 8am. When I asked what about the drink i had poured she charged me £1.50 and said I'd have to sit outside (dark and wet mind). Went outside to find no seating at all. Only a very wet cold metal customer bench. Tipped the drink away as I didn't intend standing outside for half hour. Went to customer services to bring it to their attention. They didn't really seem bothered. No apology or refund offered !
THIS IS SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN !

The food here is always cooked for you and not kept warm. Their fish and chips are yo die for! FRESH, not frozen being used. Nice friendly staff too.

Good rapport with staff always cheerful friendly especially when there under pressure helpful .always serving up great food.also they like a bit of banter.

Poor experience yesterday. Poor staff, poor knowledge, no GF alternatives to standard items, no list available except at the till of allergens, "No swaps" - is this the 1970's?. Black pudding seemed like it was cooked last week, and Vegetarian sausages offered as a GF alternative. Morrisons, you need to improve!

Very poor experience this evening. Food werenot fresh and served very badly; staff weren’t helpful and friendly.

Good food breakfast will keep you full all day staff friendly and helpful good covid measures.
