We arrived on a busy Saturday lunchtime and there was no space left so they told us we could go through to the Duke which runs off the same kitchen. When we got in there, there were no menus and the waitress was reeling things off until she said something we liked the sound of 🙈 This is my reason for the 4 stars. However, they completely redeemed themselves with the incredibly lovely staff, the lovely homely feel of the cafe and most importantly an amazing milkshake, scrummy toasties and lovely tea! Will 100% be back next time I'm back in the area.

A really lovely cafe which has a beautifully decorated interior and polite and friendly staff. The menu looked very tempting but we'd only popped in for a drink before travelling home from holiday.
We had a nice coffee and my son raved about the milkshake with cream and sprinkles!
(The frequent banging out of the coffee grounds by the barista was a small annoyance and I seemed to notice it much more here than other places but a really small thing!)

Lovely food. Lovely atmosphere. Very busy for such a small cafe and the staff are lovely. Nice little touch in the bathroom for sanitary products. Also as you can see super dog friendly! 🤍

Coffee stop as we get our bearings. Dutchess is ideal little cafe just of the main road. Table service is relaxed and menu to die for. Sorry I couldn't for food hear!

Lovely cafe, great cuppa and very much enjoyed our brie, bacon and cranberry toasted sandwiches. Good access with adjacent car park.

Great vegan & veggie breakfasts, friendly staff, quick service, pleasant atmosphere with cute decor. Only one criticism for the flat white which was more of a latte (lots of milk)

Stopped in for a coffee and snack and loved it here. Decor is unique and really adds a touch of individuality to the place. Staff are all really friendly and helpful and the portions are more than generous. I have a pancake stack and struggled to finish it. Great value for money.
