Highly recommend this little cafe. They aren't open long hours or all days, but it's a great place to stop and absorb some local village culture and enjoy some tasty home made food.

The staff are super friendly, and incredibly welcoming - we ended up chatting with them almost as much as each other whilst we were there. They were full of local knowledge and very quick to recommend local spots and walking routes.

Absolutely amazing place to go on the way to Newborough Forest for lunch! Staff are great to talk to and are always the nicest people when we visit! The panini’s are perfection as well as them having lovely coffees and hot chocolates (even a caramac hot chocolate)! They are also dog friendly and were very accommodating for our dog as well! The ambiance is amazing and like walking into a forest full of red squirrels, really lives up to its name. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this cafe and they can’t do enough for their customers! Love this place and is a need to go when in Wales!

Popped in for brunch during a recent camping trip and must say food was very good ( chicken and bacon ) with some chips and the coffee was best in Anglesey 👍 super friendly staff with good local knowledge

Absolutely fantastic what a lovely homely welcome, Di & Sue are so nice, the food was gorgeous and the coffee was amazing ,Di has a wealth of knowledge of the area so no need for a map lol, Sue has the Red Squirrel Art Gallery upstairs along with local makes you won't be able to stop yourself, but honestly her photography is mind blowing as I was walking up the stairs these 3 night photos intrace you you really are spoilt for choice
So after a purchase from Sue and a cwtch from Di off we went on our walk to St Dwynwens Island which was out of this world very spiritual I didn't want to leave
If your in North Wales don't miss it

This is my local cafe and I am so pleased because they are very dog friendly and treat their customers with good manners and set a great welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this venue for anyone passing through Newborough.

Fabulously quirky wee cafe. Di, the owner, is a smashing host and it was like visiting a friend house. Delicious tea, coffee, and cake and a good old blether about visiting squirrels. Took a wee visit to the equally quirky and beautiful upstairs gallery after a refreshing cuppa and much needed cake. Will definitely go back on next trip to Anglesey.

This is THE Cafe to come to. A ton of women shouting at each other in Welsh while serving brilliant food at excellent prices. The tea is hot and delicious, the cakes are moist and yummy. I am so glad we stopped here while hiking Llwybr Afordir Cymru.
