Cafe 88 is a great cafe and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting good home cooked food! I have been here a few times now and the service and food never disappoints! Tried the afternoon tea today and must say it's one of the best I've tried with a variety of food including different cheeses and pate 🥰 Also loved the little idea of "pay with a post it" to help people that are struggling! Definitely looking forward to returning Xx

Tasty food, lovely friendly staff, clean pleasant environment. But what impressed me most was you can pay on for a meal, drink, or brew and cake for someone less fortunate, how thoughtful is that ?

Visiting the area we looked up on Google for a nearby cafe. Spotted this cafe with very good reviews. Ordered a large and small breakfast, both were excellent and brought very quickly and both had drinks included. Very clean and welcoming place with extra seats in the rear. Great staff and best of all a great price too very reasonable. The milkshakes are also excellent. Parking outside and seating also outside. would recommend and if in the area would return.

I loved this place. Was a last minute decision to go here, it was the festive decorations that led me inside. The food was good and I also had a milkshake. The staff were super friendly and they were playing Christmas music.

This is an amazing place to eat, comfy, welcoming, and the food is just simply great.
The staff are lovely and they definitely make your visit a great one.
They have a board where you can buy anything from a hot drink to a breakfast/lunch etc for people who are not fortunate enough to afford it, just pay, write a slip and pin it on the board and that's someone able to eat who can't afford to.
