Derbyshire Cakes

Nicola is a talented and professional lady who makes the most wonderful cakes. She is a pleasure to deal with, and every time I have ordered a cake from her nothing has been too much trouble. She is so creative and will try anything to ensure her customers are happy. Most importantly her cakes are delicious!! I won't go anywhere else for my cakes. Would highly recommend.

We have used Nicola for all our cakes for over 7 years, she is absolutely amazing and so polite and always make us such gorgeous looking and even better tasting cakes! Both our children look forward to what cake she had made for their birthdays! They even ask for them now! We wouldn’t use anyone else for cakes!

Had several cakes over the years from Nicola at Derbyshire Cakes. Ranging from tiered christening cakes, cupcakes, edible prints and single layer creations. All have been to an outstanding standard. Sponge is always the perfect texture, accompanied with a filling to suit each individual flavour. (Particularly love the Lemon and Chocolate Orange cakes). Whenever I have given an idea of what I want, she always manages to create the cake to suit my occasion . As a busy mum its easy to forget to organise a cake and Derbyshire Cakes have never let me down. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking of ordering cakes from Derbyshire Cakes.

I ordered a large 14 inch cake and two smaller cakes, all with photo icing. Nicola was very easy to deal with and responds very quickly. The three cakes were absolutely lovely. The icing photos were very attractive. The sponge was very nice and moist, the jam was high quality and the icing was really generously thick. These were the best cakes I have had for a long time.

Nicola made a 2-tier Birthday Cake for me this month, and I was over the moon with the result! Nothing was too much trouble, communication was great, great price and the cake itself not only looked amazing but tasted it too! Thank you Nicola.
