The Cake World

I've brought chocolate cake last Sunday the inside was dry for some reason it didn't taste nice at all and they put less cream in the cake and the colour . Also the colours they use r so strong, the blue colour of the cake kept my teeth blue for hours,
Nothing was special about the cake wasn't worth for even a £10 which I paid £55 very disappointed....

I ordered a cake for my brothers 21st. The writing had been rushed and was just about readable, the guy then tells me “it’s ok as is”. I had already paid him, so I think that’s why he was not bothered with my complaint!! He was very rude and extremely unhelpful!! This wasn’t the first cake we as a family have got from Cake World but it will definitely be the last!!

I ordered a cake for my daughters 9th birthday which was picked up today 10.05.21, the cake is split half way down all the way around and the writing looks awful! Squashed and barley readable, I called the shop to be told 'darling what do you want me to do about it' and Continued to try and explain that is was my fault. Never will I be buying a cake from this shop again!

Great cakes, sometimes a bit too rich in cream but whenever I'm feeling down I grab a fresh cake for £10 and it makes for a happy day. Can't go wrong in a world filled with cake!!!

Update.....bought 2 slices of cake....was told it was fresh....worst oldest cake I've ever eaten. Standards have slipped.

Ordered a birthday cake for my girlfriend taste much better than the previous place I order my birthday cakes from staff was very polite will be trying them again for my son’s birthday

Ordeded a cake that cost me £150 and is was looking like the leaning tower of Pisa, almost tearing apart, no one ate the cake, very dry with no taste. It went all to bin. Wasted £150 for nothing
