Lovely little place. This is more of my kind of scene than sitting in a busy cafe, pub or sandwich place.
The cakes were great and so was the latte.
Not far off £20 for what you see in the picture, but you get what you pay for.
I thought it was lovely and the service was great

A quaint old bus shelter now used as a tea room in a classy part of the city.
Lovely friendly staff serving delicious cakes and drinks.

The quality of this café was sub-par. The teapots were dirty and the deserts we ordered had just come out the freezer and we're still partly frozen!
May come again if food and drink quality improves.

Had a lovely experience here for afternoon tea. Highly recommend buying the voucher on prezzybox or buyagift to save money. The waitresses were lovely and so welcoming. Only downside is the limited indoor seating but we still enjoyed the experience regardless. Would definitely recommend this as a gift.

We had afternoon tea, there was no choice for the sandwiches and were not asked about allergies or gluten free but what we did have was very nice 😊

We booked a Groupon afternoon tea and we’re really disappointed. The sandwiches were all unbuttered white bread that was dry. The scones were tiny and hard and a small amount of clotted cream provided. The cakes were ok but didn’t taste fresh. How they sell the afternoon tea for 2 at £36 - absolutely not worth it. Not worth it for £22 Groupon.

The website says you can order a cake and collect same day, so yesterday I ordered around 11am for a 1pm pickup. About 10 minutes before I was due to pick up, I got a text saying there was no stock and the order had been cancelled. I decided to try and order another for today, thinking that they may get new stock on a Monday and if they still didn't have stock they would have most of a day to notify me so I could arrange something else. Went down today to collect at the arranged time and the staff seemed confused at the idea that I had ordered through their website. They told me that the order was cancelled yesterday, and I said that my first order had been cancelled but my second hadn't. I was offered a different cake for half price, but I'd rather have just had what I ordered originally and not had my time wasted. Stock control really isn't that complicated. It's 3 hours later and I still haven't seen my refund for today's order or yesterday's order.

Went here today for a cream tea. First appearance was good however the experience wasn't so great when my wife took her first bite of the sandwich only to stop chewing, reach into her mouth and pull out a long hair that had been in her sandwich.
We were not asked if we had allergies, we had one little pot of cream and another little pot of jam to share between the two of us.
Not really an issue as the scones were rather hard we ended up leaving some of it.

On a plus side the hot chocolates we had were lovely and the staff, although shedding were nice and polite.

The cakes on the counter however which looked amazing are not what you get with the cream tea.
