Disgusted- expired yogurt smelling cake! Purchased off the shelf cake for Eid party, kept in fridge served the next morning and embarrassed to see all the guests complaining about the smell. My daughter and I tried a slice and ended up vomiting and upset stomach. Complained to Penny Reed at customer relations who wrote me a reply that I was basically a liar and their systems never let them down! Been a customer for 10 years and will ensure I never buy from this aweful place again!

Service was good but cake was awful it was so dry there was hardly any filling in between the layers and tasted like it had been sat their for weeks, this hasn’t been the first time
this has happened here now. Such a shame because I had to throw it in the bin, it was that bad!

Me and my mum wanted to enjoy a slice of cake and was excited, had our cuppa ready but sadly we were left with a bad taste in our mouth.

Money wasted.

And after reading reviews of food poisoning and others getting sold old cakes, I won’t be returning.

Omg, We were at the end of our holiday, filling the time and happened to be passing this shop.

The owner was just clearing up and there was a limited choice available, but I spotted those cakes from across the street.

I’m from near Glasgow and Greggs the bakers is about as exotic as it gets, so this shop, selling slabs of scrumptious looking cake of all different flavours was not something to be missed.

The lady behind the counter was very patient (though she was probably cursing us under her breath) whilst all four of us drooled and dithered about which cake to get.

In the end we all had different types, but I got to try them all…. Ive never tasted anything like it!!!

In my world a cake either looks good or it tastes good, never both, and layered sponge cakes are usually dry and unpalatable.

Not this cake.

Every slab of cake was layered sponge but with different flavour sponge and filling.
The toppings were intricate, colourful and totally unique.

I’m not into reviewing food or taking pictures of food…. So I can't show you….. but I scoffed my vanilla/coconut/strawberry ensemble before I even noticed the USP was that there were no eggs in the cake - I just bought, scoffed and thoroughly enjoyed the cake on its merit.

It tasted more like gateaux to me, moist but not dense and the sponge was still light.

Every cake was beautifully presented with great attention to detail.

I would love the chance to return and try more of these cakes but will just have to hope for a franchise closer to home.

Ordered a cake online to collect on the same day. The cake tasted like couple of days old. Very disappointing I feel that I wasted my £25. Not recommended at all

Went to the one in camberley that just opened looks lovely but the taste all the same reminds me off the cakes you get from a cheap all inclusive holiday .so at £4 a slice I wouldn’t go back

Aldershot site: Its an okay place to walk in and grab something while you are out but they never, ever deliver. Why give that option when you aren't going to bother? Only one star for walking in and buying ONE item.

To the.Reply - No you do not. We have tried at least four times to request delivery. Each time has been cancelled on your end.

Staff very polite always help us to choose the cake. Cakes always fresh😍
