From when I first contacted Bubakes to inquire about our wedding cake, Liz could not have been more friendly and helpful. She was a dream to work with and helped me come up with a beautiful cake with fresh flowers that was perfect for our wedding day. The cake tasted absolutely divine and you could really taste to freshness and quality of the ingredients! All of our guests commented on how delicious it was - it was lucky we put some aside for the next day otherwise it would have all been gobbled up! After tasting a BuBakes cake for my sister’s birthday, I knew it was an obvious choice for my wedding cake!!
She was so adaptable with the times and managed to change our cake last minute to match our wedding (going from serving 100+ to 30) and the flavours were incredible. A gluten free lemon layer for me (which everyone nabbed as it was so tasty) and an amazing chocolate layer for my husband.
We will 100% be ordering again next year for our wedding reception - thank you!! Xx

Liz created a fabulous cake for our recent baby shower. It not only looked even better than the sample photo I sent her but also tasted wonderful. I would highly recommend BuBakes.

I got in touch with Liz to ask her about baking a cake for my fiancé’s 30th during lockdown, as I wanted to make his birthday a bit more special. Liz was super lovely; very responsive, had all the time in the world to answer my questions, and ended up baking us an absolutely gorgeous cake! Was exquisitely decorated and tasted just as amazing.
