Sweet Satisfaction, Creative Cake Design

Well I don’t even know where to start! Nicole was amazing from the minute I emailed her, sadly at first she had no space to make my cake, but then she squeezed me in which I was so thankful for, the cake tasting was probably one of the hardest things I had to do because they all tasted insane I wanted all of them! We had to narrow it down to two and that was so hard. She went above and beyond to make my cake perfect and even got a new cake stand that would fit my theme better! I will forever recommend her!

Also get the lemon cake it’s out of this world!!!!

If you are searching for the PERFECT wedding cake… look no further. Nicole is truly talented and the cake she created for our rustic country wedding on 21st May was beyond our wildest dreams. Nicole carefully listened to every detail that I gave her and copied the images that I sent her from Pinterest perfectly - I was blown away when I first saw our cake!
The cake tasting we had back in January was superb and made it extremely challenging to choose only 3 flavours; however Nicole provided professional suggestions as to which of our 3 favourite flavours (Victoria sponge with fresh strawberries, carrot cake with orange buttercream and lemon & poppyseed with elderflower buttercream) would work best together and how she could mix different buttercream flavours into them to make them even more delicious! Having seen a couple of her creations in her workshop as well, we were immediately sold.

Not only was our cake beyond beautiful, but I never thought a cake that aesthetically gorgeous could also be SO delicious. I was shocked to hear that by the end of the night… 90% of our cake had been eaten and there was barely any to take home!! Safe to say we and our guests absolutely adored it, we had many comments on how tasty it was.

Thank you Nicole for your hard work and dedication in creating a cake that was everything we had ever imagined and everything we ever wanted. It looked stunning placed on your white cake stand on top of our barrel. Even the foliage placement was perfect.

I would recommend Sweet Satisfaction in a heartbeat - Nicole also created Chris’s sister’s cake back in 2019 and did not disappoint for either wedding! 100% go for her :)

When we spoke to Sweet Satisfaction Creative Cake Design about our unique cake ideas for our wedding, they didn't exactly compliment each other 🙃. However, Sweet Satisfaction Creative Cake Design took our ideas and made them into an artistic masterpiece! Nicole is an incredible artist and baker and we both felt incredibly lucky to have her artwork as one of the focal points on our wedding day. We had four different flavours and each one tasted incredible! If you ever have the chance to ask Nicole to design and make your wedding cake, go for it! You won't regret it. What she can do with eggs and flour is nothing short of amazing. The cakes taste fantastic. The buttercream is divine. And the decoration, well the woman is an artist. Not to mention the amazing figures she can create.

We asked Nicole to make us a Super Mario themed wedding cake and were blown away by the results. For someone that didn't know her Poochi from her Goomba we were amazed by the level of detail she managed to capture in all the character work. The final result was a piece of art which probably got as many photos taken of it as the happy couple! Nicole was lovely to work with and went out of her way to make sure we didn't see the cake until the big reveal.
Plus it tasted great too. (Particularly the delicious Black Forest layer which deserves a place in everyone's cake!)

We can thoroughly recommend Sweet Satisfaction, you will not be disappointed!! Nicole made the cake for our wedding in June and we already knew that it would be beautiful, but it went beyond our expectations and brought a tear to my eye when I looked into the room and saw it! Three tiers, each one a different flavour and everyone said that it looked and tasted amazing. Nicole is so talented, lovely and easy to talk to and ensures that you get the cake of your dreams. We asked Nicole to make a cake to help us celebrate my Dad’s 80th birthday at a hotel in Sidmouth, but didn’t have a particularly strong idea what we were after. With just a few simple questions, Nicole did an amazing job in creating a simple but stunning cake that really helped top off a wonderful celebration. The whole thing went so smoothly, including delivering the cake to the hotel so we had nothing (cake-wise!) to worry about…

The most beautiful and tasty wedding cake!
Nicole did an incredible job at making our wedding cake. All of our guests said it was the tastiest cake they'd ever had (strawberry and champagne, and lemon) My nieces had double helpings and we had to force them to stop! The topper is my favourite thing that we've taken away from the day - from just some photos, Nicole managed to make the most exquisite toppers that look just like us! We'll definitely be back for more!
