From start to finish Holly was so professional and conscientious, ensuring our wedding cake was as exactly as we had envisaged. Not only did the cake look amazing but it tasted amazing too. Holly created the most beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake for us. Before booking with Holly I had looked at so many other options but none were quite what I was looking for. As soon as I saw Holly’s work I knew it was her who I wanted to make the cake- I was not disappointed!

Holly made us the most delicious cutting cake & cupcakes for our wedding. We had vanilla filled with jam & chocolate filled with ganache. The quality of the chocolate to make the ganache was outstanding & I love that she uses swiss meringue buttercream, my favourite. Her piping skills are crisp & precise. She listened to exactly what we wanted which was to keep it really simple for the topper to be the star of the show as it was such a personal touch for us & was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Her communication was brilliant, cannot fault her at all, highly recommended.

Holly is amazing, she made us the most beautiful wedding cake, during our consultation we discussed the cake I wanted and that I would like our two cats as the toppers, Holly asked for pictures of them and she captured them perfectly, when we got to the reception and saw the cake I was delighted, everyone commented on how beautiful the cake was. Holly hand painted the cake and this demonstrates how skilled she is, we have kept the cake toppers as a permanent reminder of our amazing cake. When we got home from the reception Holly has posted a hand drawn congratulations cake with a drawing of the cake, that is now in a frame.

Holly made the most beautiful cupcakes and cake for my daughters christening. Holly was very friendly and helpful in advising on the size of cake needed and brought to life exactly the design I had sent her an image of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Holly.

I came across Holly Dolly Cakes after a frustrating week of searching for custom cake bakeries near me, where the cakes were overpriced and their looks were subpar. The moment I lay my eyes on Holly's cake designs on her website, I knew she was THE ONE. I emailed Holly and she was very responsive, not just at first but all throughout the process. I used a couple of cakes she'd already made as reference and we spoke about the vision for the final product. We picked up the cake for the party yesterday and there are honestly no words to describe it. It's easy to look at the picture and think, "oh that's lovely!" But seeing it - in real life - oh my god. I could write a whole novel just describing this piece of art that was for sure the centre piece on the table. No one believed it was actually a cake! Everything about it was just incredible! The details in the hot air balloon, the little bunny, the blue fondant, the clouds! INSANE. I would've said it was almost a crime to actually cut it, but the taste - holly dolly! (Excuse the pun) we got the chocolate sponge and chocolate buttercream. It was absolutely heavinly. All our guests were just enchanted by the beauty of it! Honestly I could rant all day and still not come near doing Holly's artistry justice, so in short, if you have an event coming up and would like to make it extra special with an out-of-this-world cake, Holly Dolly Cakes is the place to go to! I am definitely a customer for life!

Holly was fantastic. She accommodated us at short notice (less than 6 weeks) and made a beautiful 3- tier wedding cake. Not only did the floral arrangement look stunning, the chocolate buttercream and fondant icing tasted delicious (much better than the horrid, dry, supermarket cake we were originally considering). Everything went according to plan so I cannot recommend Holly more highly
