The staff were polite and efficient but didn't talk much. We enjoyed the halloumi salad and the tuna melt but the cakes weren't that great, they seem very appetising to the eye but once on your plate, the taste is bland and not worth it. We tried the frangipane tart and the pecan and walnut tart. Maybe the other cakes are better. I don't think we will go back.

I like this chain of patisseries. They often have an feel of elegance about them and are normally well staffed and provide good food and excellent cakes along with tasty drinks. This one is no exception. It was very pleasant to sit and enjoy a break from the shopping and have a table service which was quick and pleasant. It was tidy when we were there and we had a nice time and will go back.

Really good iced lattes, the staff are really lovely. They go out of their way for their customers, definitely recommend it to everyone. Get a oat milk caramel iced latte!

Tasty hot chocolate, nice a smooth and topped off with cream as an extra. Custard slice very tasty, we also had the baked cheese cake which is maybe more cheesey and sour than we are used to.
Nice little restaurant with the option of scan to order and pay.

Visited last week with my husband and newborn baby. We were told to take any seat in a certain area. There were only two available s not much choice and waited for service... service that never came. Another couple entered and were shown to a seat by another member of staff and given menus. We continued to wait and still nothing. The lady who asked us to sit was making drinks and never came back to us. We walked past 2 member's of staff on leaving and neither even acknowledged us. Will never return.

All the desserts look amazing so I've expected more quality for them but I've got disappointed. The cakes have too much sugar, it is all sugar. Also, you can feel too much salt 🧂 on them. They are also dry, I finished my coffee and coke trying to eat the cake...

If we will repeat someday will be to have a good coffee ( it's really good) and because of how the personal treat us, but not for the cafe.

Went with a friend. We ordered afternoon tea for 2. The service was slow but the staff were genuine enough. I got given unclean cutlery which took ages to be replaced.
The mini cakes were delicious but can't say the same about the sandwiches. There were 3 different sandwiches two of each but quite small. The bread was very dry as if they'd been made some while ago. At a price of £36 I cannot say that it was worth it. Quality has declined.

Visited Patisserie Valerie Cambridge for afternoon tea, a Christmas present from my grandson. Were seated and order was taken. Waitress was ok. When our order arrived the sandwiches were acceptable, however when it came to the scones they were like golf balls, Size and texture. Told the waitress and she replaced them, they were warmed in microwave but still unacceptable, obviously overcooked. This is disgusting for the price paid. I will not be returning. N
