Jacobs Cake World

This is by far the closest puffs I have had that tastes like India. There are variety of pastries and puffs like vegetable, egg, chicken and beef. The best part is that it’s HALAL!! The owner is from Kerela. The pastries and milkshakes are also good. They take in orders for birthdays and special occasions. They do make custom stuff on request. There’s another branch as well. This is a go to place for puffs and cup cakes. As for Pastries there are lots of other places in Hounslow but I would recommend their puffs!!

I have been their customer for nearly 8 years now. This is the best shop and go to one in Hounslow. My top 2 favourite cakes are 1. Fruit cake ( they are the best in making this)
2. Mango cake (mind blowing)

Jacobs always does fabulous cakes for all our family occasions: Be it my kids birthdays or our anniversary they always make the prettiest and tastiest cakes in town and we love their customer service to accommodate all our needs. Keep baking!!!

Popped by and thought I'd get a lamb Somosa. Don't do it- its the only non meat item i ate and i haven't stopped throwing up for 10 hours! Wouldnt ever go back!

I usually order my cakes for another baker. Few days ago I called around cake shops. Jacobs took my order according to the type of cake I wanted. When I called up the staff said to me all our cakes are fresh cream not buttercream. Which I said great. She asked me what type of sponge cake I asked for chocolate sponge cake. The cake looked amazing it was 8inch with nuts at the bottom. Chocolate drip cake with piping chocolate whip cream with individual ferrero Roche. Very well presented. It was for my daughters birthday and spent £30. On the evening we went for a meal and then for dessert we presented the cake etc when we cut the cake looked good. Unfortunately it was the taste and texture of the cake that was disappointing. The cream on top of the cake tasted diff from fresh cream. It’s a shame I mentioned it to them instead of sympathising they said you should have bought a slice of our cake !!!! What a joke looks like I will stick to my local bakeries . The finishing touch of the cake was only the good thing

Oh my God these bakers are amazing. I got a customized baby shark birthday cake and they literally smashed it. It was a big cake and all decorations were amazing and the taste was out class. Will be using them in future. It was my 1st experience and they did a splendid job. Superb Jacobscakeworld#

Pros:
Staff helped with design and flavour choices at store 👍
Cake looked beautiful and tasted good 👍
We paid for the delivery and was delivered as scheduled 👍

Cons:
They forgot to add THE MESSAGE ON TOP OF THE CAKE as instructed! To realise that the cake looked plain empty on the top, this was embarrassing for us in front of the guests during the cake cutting ceremony , so it ruined the moment for us a bit.
I mean this wasn't a tiny cake where it's ok to exclude the message. We paid £150 for the 3 tier cake to be delivered at the venue for 200 guests so isn't it obvious that the cake needed a message?

Popped in yesterday for some fresh pastries!
The chocolate truffle was nice.
The coffee lacked the coffee flavour and was too dry.
Reasonably priced. A lot of puffs but didn’t try that.
5-6 cake options and all looked fresh.
Taste was ok, not a must try but if hungry and want sweet stuff can give a go!
