Patisserie Valerie - Bromley

Visited here as we were gifted a lunch time voucher for 2. The first lady who served us (who I presume is the manager) was very friendly and nice. my partner and I were discussing the prices of items and I must of got a price wrong as a young female waitress jumped into our conversation to correct me in a very sassy manner. Wasn’t impressed with her attitude and it did damped our experience here as first time customers. Our hot drinks and cakes were lovely as was the lunch we ordered but after this experience we will not be retuning.

I went for an afternoon tea here this afternoon with my friend using a red letter day voucher I got for my birthday last year & it was so delicious! I would definitely recommend it! The lady that made up the sandwiches & cakes was very accomadating because there was certain filling I didn't want! The cakes were amazing! All the staff there were so helpful and pleasant! Thank you all i will definitely be back!

Beautiful French patisserie, gorgeous pastries and excellent coffee. Bespoke cakes for any occasion can also be ordered for collection. The poached eggs on brown toast are delicious too. Order from an extensive menu and the food is prepared freshly for you. Highly recommended if you want something that's not just any old chain

I have been to VP on multiple occasions. I have always had a pleasant welcome and a good service. I would highly recommend Patisserie Valerie for their outstanding customer service and would definitely be going back there in the near future :) I always go there with my children and they love the atmosphere as well as I do! It is very chilled, calm and welcoming. On my recent visit (today) I had a hot chocolate w/coconut milk and scones with jam and real butter; they were very tasty and my children usually have the scones and soft drinks but the scones are sooooo good!! Even though it can be pricey I tend to go back for the quality of the scones; the taste and the good customer service and attention I receive! Just to add the guy at the counter is very friendly and attentive, thank you 😊🤗

Patisserie Valerie has always been a fave for me when it comes to cake but I've not enjoyed it for my last two visits.

It's a shame this venue has such a canteen style - it's a very cheap ambience for very expensive cake and coffee!

The coffee is how it should be - I had a toffee spice latte and I'd order it again.

The caramel biscuit cake was sickly sweet (and I have a sweet tooth!) and all 3 cakes we ordered (blackforest Gateux and Red Velvet) weren't spongy at all - they tasted as though they were way over 24 hours old and been in the fridge for a while - pretty dense/hard!

Not impressed and wouldn't go back!

Had breakfast end of October with my daughter, had scrambled eggs with spinach on a bagel, eggs were like rubber, spinach was raw and bagel was not buttered, my daughter’s breakfast was equally as bad. Will not be eating here again.

What about changing them !? (The arm chairs)

Queued for a very very long time, staff seemed to be muttering little digs at each other while I waited for 2 drinks to be made.

There was a lot of confusion regarding orders and I waited 15 minutes for 2 hot chocolates.

Decor is disgusting, all the chairs are peeling and the floor is unclean.

2 pieces of cake 2 hot chocolates = £22

Won't be back.
