Sugar & Ice

I've had two cakes from here, one of which was in very short notice. Both were very tasty, but more importantly for me, they were expertly decorated.

I was planning a Lego cake for my partner who was turning 40 (he is a big kid) and I was struggling to find what I needed to make the lego bricks. My friend just happened to mention that there was a shop local to her so I gave them a call and the lady was extremely helpful in telling me what would be the best way to make what I wanted. They also had every colour I needed in stock which main chain stores didn't, so when I arrived at the store, I was shocked at the amount of various products they sell. I ended up leaving with more than I had planned including all the sugar paste I could want. End result of my first cake went down a treat

We had ordered a cake on 13 April for our wedding in August. At first the people was lovely. Unfortunately we had to get a refund as my dad had sorted a surprise cake out for us. We had explained to the shop what had happened. We had told them after 4 days of ordering the cake.Well……. When we had went into them to get a refund , Me and my partner never felt belittled and humiliated in our life’s. The women that was serving us looked down at us and treat us with little respect. She was very hostile towards us.
Don’t know about how good the cakes are but their customer service is poor. WE DID’NT Deserved get spoken to like that or treated like that either.

What a great shop. If they don't have what your looking for they will get it for you. Very freindly and helpful staff. I am enjoying my courses with Debbie she is a great teacher as I am a beginner. Thank you.

LOVE this shop. The staff are always friendly and really helpful. Ask them anything and they are always happy to help with tips and advice. There is a good range of products and decorating equipment which is all reasonably priced. Definitely my favourite shop.

Sugar & ice did our wedding cake and it was amazing, we had so many compliments and was exactly what we asked for. Everyone said how delicious it was also. Great customer service from all the staff. Will definitely recommend and will be using them for my daughters 1st birthday cake.

Sugar and ice made our wedding cake for our wedding on 27th August, they listened to what we wanted and took everything on board to make an amazing cake, which exceeded our expectations.
We had so many complimentary remarks from our guests who all thought it was fabulous. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

It was my first time ordering a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and I have to admit-it was amazing! I didn't exactly know what I wanted and one of the ladies talked me through it. When I picked up the cake, I was beyond amazed. For the price it was better than I expected. Plus it was delicious! Will definitely come back!
