The Cake Solution - Wigston

Loved the cakes choices, one of my fav places for desserts. Service was excellent, prices also worth it! I sure will be back.

I loved my coffee. They have a big selection of fresh cheese cakes. Very tasty and not overly priced. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Never been in myself but my cousin bought a cheese cake over for a family dinner, best cheese cake I think I and the rest of the family have ever had, amazing. Will definitely be visiting when next in Wigston!

Was rushing around trying to find a cake for my wife. I’m not tight but loads of places offer cakes that are just really expensive, huge and tasteless

So I bought the much hyped Red Velvet cake for my husbands birthday 23rd Sept. Firstly, I was presented with a Lemon Meringue cake ( not exactly what I ordered for). Eventually my online order was found and I was assured that they have plenty of red velvet cakes in store. The manager then took the cake that was in the display ( not exactly the fresh cake I was expecting to receive) so I asked for another one, as that one was marked.
What they did not tell me was that the cake was kept in the bloody freezer! So when it came to doing my husbands cake cut in the evening, we were shocked to discover that the cake was frozen and hadn't even thawed!
I called this morning to complain and firstly there is no manager in the store (convenient) until possibly next week and if I want a refund I will need to bring the cake with me to prove there was a problem...... slight problem there- surely it would have defrosted having now been kept 20 hours in my fridge. Also the fact I live about 25 mins away from your store.
Absolutely dumbfounded with the response! Yet the website promotes if you aren't 100% satisfied then please call and you will resolve this. Absolute rubbish!!!

Cheesecakes are excellent and friendly service. Opening hours on the door say 10am however on last two visits have had to wait out side for 20mins. There was a sign in the window saying back in 15mins, so would not advise turning up before 10:30.

Just went into the store for my birthday cake and was charged more for my cake than the marked price as the prices are due to change today but not labelled correctly. Diana failed to tell us when we entered and couldn't get to the back sooner. The customer service provided very poor and she was rude and very sarcastic. I was horrified and would not recommend.
