Jenny is amazing! This was the only cake tasting we did for our wedding because the second we tried it we knew we had to have it. She made us the most incredible 4 tiered semi-naked cake and we had so many flavour options to choose from! In the end we went for victoria sponge, red velvet, toffee apple and lemon and every single one of them was delicious! Not only did it look incredible but it tasted even better - needless to say it all got eaten pretty quickly! Jenny also made us pink and ivory iced cupcakes to go with it, which were all demolished on the night. She was helpful and friendly throughout and made our perfect wedding cake, would highly recommend her. Thank you so much! x

Jenny is amazing. She made our 5 tiered wedding cake for us last year, which was our dream cake. All our guests thoroughly enjoyed the cake. We had some traditional rich fruit tiers and the rest was delicious sponge flavours such as lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge and apple. We would highly recommend Jenny at Coast cakes without hesitation. 5 stars all round, such an amazing cake maker. Thank you Jenny so very much!

Jenny is fantastic. Given the job of recreating the Sagrada Familia for my Sons wedding cake top Jenny absolutely came up trumps. I cant thank her enough for her dedication to detail and her skill. Everyone at the wedding was stunned by the cake and the Bride & Groom over the moon. Thank you Jenny

Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect, exactly what we had hoped for and tasted amazing! Everyone commented on how delicious it was. Unfortunately I did not get to taste a couple of the tiers as they were all eaten on the day, but Jennifer was kindly able to make me cupcakes after the event to include the flavours that I missed-a wonderful, scrumptious surprise for my birthday!

Unfortunately i had a few problems with the cake from Jenny at Coast Cakes.

We spent a long time going through the design for my Grandads special 80th birthday cake. We had requested for specific wording which was special to my Grandad to be on the cake which Jenny interpreted differently and put different wording. This meant we had to change it ourselves at the venue.

She also charged an extra £45 for details which were certainly not to show for on the final cake. The details looked rushed and messy, making the overall cake disappointing.

I messaged Jenny the day after the event to explain this to her as she was highly reccomended to myself. Jennys response was 10% off my next cake, i had no plans to make another purchase therefore i requested 10% off my original cake. This would total £27, not even the £45 i paid for the extra details.

After this message Jenny has not responded to any of messages. 4 chaser messages and 2 weeks later, i have still not had any reponse from Jenny which is extremely disappointing. This review was my last resort which i didn't want to leave but haven't had a choice. Won't be ordering from Coast Cakes again for this reason.

Missing information from the customers 1* rating below. Customer said "The cake was lovely and enjoyed by everyone". Cake was collected by two members of the family that had ordered the cake. They were very happy on collection.They were happy that evening and happy the following morning. Any problems re decoration were not addressed when there was plenty of opportunity to make any changes.The complaint only arose after the event and the cake was enjoyed by everyone.This is why as a gesture of goodwill I offered a 10% discount off a future order. Jenny made us a 50th birthday cake.
It was delicious and everyone at the party thought it looked great. Will def use again when we need the next cake.

Jenny really went the extra mile for me. She went to extraordinary lengths to make sure my birthday cupcakes were delivered on time, and boy did they look perfect and taste great! Impeccable quality, and I will be using Coast Cakes again.
