Kate's Kakes

My wife and I ordered a a cake for a 70th Birthday. We were not sure what we wanted but Kate was so helpful with excellent and prompt communication to help us make the right choice. We were hoping for something special to mark the occasion and we weren't disappointed. The cake looked stunning. It was so elegant. Knowing it was one of a kind makes it even more special. It tasted incredible. Beautifully balanced flavours with a perfect texture. I cant recommend Kate's Kakes enough. Excellent service and excellent cake!

Kate did a fantastic job on our daughter's christening cake. The entire process was very smooth and Kate went above and beyond. The final result was a beautiful cake that was admired by everyone at the event. I can't recommend her enough.

Kate kindly baked some cupcakes for my Sister-in-law's 60th birthday.
From initial contact to collection, Kate was just brilliant - I had absolutely no idea what I really wanted but with her guidance and experience I was able to pick 2 flavours and the decorations (flowers and candied fruit).
The family were absolutely blown away by the cakes, the decoration was superb and the flavours were truly delicious.
I will never buy cakes from anyone again!
It's my own 60th next year so I know exactly where I'll be going for my cake!

Kate made a cake for my mum's 70th birthday - it was stunning.
From my initial enquiry onwards, Kate provided prompt responses with advice and suggestions which helped narrow down a broad theme for the cake design, including flavours.
Although I had sent Kate some pictures of cakes that appealed to me from her social media posts, I did not want to impose a particular design, preferring to let her interpret the design brief as she saw fit. It would also have been impossible to pick 'favourites' from her beautiful past creations.
Upon collection Kate provided advice about storage and how to best serve the cake for the best 'eating' experience. We were travelling for a couple of hours and the cake storage box perfectly protected the cake until we presented it.
The cake was a visual delight, with flavour and baking quality to match. It was so appreciated by my mum and admired by all present.
Thank you for helping us to celebrate her birthday in style.

On both a business and personal level all the cakes that Kate has done have been exceptional with nothing but amazing praise - always.

Kate does all the baking such as scones, brownies, mini cakes and more for my Buffet food business. She is always my go to for any personal occasion cakes too, birthdays etc.

Kate's attention to detail and love of what she does is why her cakes are so incredible, she loves trying out new flavours and concepts too.

She makes the most amazing brownies which are my absolute favourite!!

Kate made my daughters first birthday cake a few weeks ago. It not only looked beautiful with delicate edible flowers and pastel pink icing but also tasted incredible. My daughter is allergic to dairy and eggs so this was a bit of a different cake but Kate went above and beyond to ensure that she could enjoy it, even checking which dairy free milk we usually give her to ensure that she wouldn't have any reactions. I would recommend Kate's Kates again for any celebrations and it might even become a birthday tradition for us 🥰 Thank you Kate, you made my daughters birthday even more special.

Kate recently made us two outstanding cakes. One was for my mother-in-laws 70th birthday and the other for my sons birthday. They were two very different cakes which demonstrated the range of her skills. Kate took time to understand what I wanted, offered suggestions where needed and made my ideas come to life. The end results were honestly just beautiful, personal and better than I had imagined. Not only did they look amazing they tasted incredible. Both cakes really made the celebrations that extra bit special. Kate is professional, easy to talk to and nothing was too much. I will be using her again in the future and can highly recommend her to anyone.
