Centre Stage Cakes

Alison at centre stage cakes made my wedding cake when i got married at the beginning of May and it looked and tasted amazing. She is so friendly and made the experience of choosing a cake stress free.

I just want to take some time amongst the chaos to thank Alison for the amazing service she gave us for our wedding in February. Our colours were burnt orange and mulberry and we knew we wanted a semi naked wedding cake. Alison was so kind and helpful the minute I messaged, she was always prompt to reply and kept immense communication all the way through. The cake tasting was so personal and really hard because Alisons cakes are all so delicious! We opted for a three tier semi naked with chocolate orange, Victoria sponge and red velvet. The cake looked absolutely outstanding and suited our theme exactly, the guests loved the look and even more the taste! I can't recommend Alison enough, it's a competitive world out there but Alison comes up on top for us. We've also ordered cupcakes since for another occasion and my love for centre stage cakes continues 🎂

We would like say a massive thank you to Alison for helping our wedding come together with an incredible cake! Alison was lovely and so friendly throughout the whole process. We we due to marry on the 28th October, but the weekend of the 18th, we decided to pull it forward to the 22nd to avoid the new restrictions coming in. Alison was a dream and was able to still create our amazing cake with just the few days notice. The whole process with Alison was so easy, from the first meeting and then communicating through email and messenger right up until the day. We had our samples sent through the post and they were brilliant. We ended up going for the delicious flavour of strawberries and champagne, which went down a treat with everyone. Alison also provided our wedding favours, a bag of three little heart Welsh cakes, which were much needed on the day as it was ceremony only with no food, so the cakes were a welcomed treat! Thank you again for an incredible cake and for making the process nice and easy. 😊

Alison made a 3 tier wedding cake for us last weekend- fruit cake base, carrot cake middle tier and chocolate orange top tier. All three tasted absolutely delicious!

Alison helped us to decide what type of icing and decoration would suit our wedding best. She delivered the cake to the venue and decorated it beautifully with fresh flowers.

I honestly can't recommend Alison enough! She is so lovely, always seems genuinely excited at a new challenge. She absolutely nailed a 30th birthday cake for us, and also made us the wedding cake of our dreams.

She totally saved our bacon when our first cake maker had to cancel our order, and went on to make us the most perfect cake, right down to the details of our cats and beautifully combining all the elements I'd shared with her.

Our guests are still asking us if we have any of her cake left as it was so delicious!

Will definitely be ordering for future occasions and looking forward to meeting her again as she is such a joy to chat to and if such a wizard with a cake!
