Cambodian Cuisine at the Carpenters Arms

Food always fresh and with personal touch - you can choose how spicy the meal will be like. Atmosphere is fine, just parking is bit problematic.

Always great food here! You've just got to try the fish curry with (my favourite) sticky rice. See my photos and then imagine your taste buds firing at a factor of ten!

A great little place, this was our first visit, but won't be our last!
Was empty when we arrived, but quickly filled thereafter.
Staff were welcoming, friendly attentive.
We chose to share the Tufu with hoisin and peanut sauce, and the Summer Rolls, Rice paper rolls filled with prawn, pork, rice noodles and vegetables. Both were lovely, although a bit more sauce would have been welcome with the tofu.
Our main courses were the Lamb Rendang, with jasmine rice and a Chicken Pad Thai. Again, both were excellent, well cooked and flavoured. A nice cold Cobra beer washed my meal down.
Will definitely be back soon!

Wonderful food ...... Cambodian cuisine is slightly spicy and aromatic without the blunt sting of raw chillies.... truly wonderful experience....parking out back and a very clean restaurant and w.c. I'll definitely be back again soon.....The owner also has a local Asian shop....so you can go and get ingredients to cook at home as well....Sue Shop Oriental Foods.....

Amazing! I could ramble on, but I think the photos speak for themselves. If you’re into south-east Asian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must! No frills, authentic food. Welcoming staff and really good value for the quality of food that they knock out. Highly recommend!

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here, service was brilliant and the restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. The food was brilliant, we asked for one curry to be "hot" and they got it perfect! Absolutely delicious and had a very relaxed time. Will definitely be going again.

Really good food! The taste was a pleasant change, subtle, not greasy, and only very spicy where it needed to be. It was delivered hot and still crisp to the minute expected. Not cheap but nonetheless very good value! We will be back for more!
