Always friendly staff with great knowledge. Incredible prices on film as well.
Kodak ColorPlus £7
Gold 200 £10
Ultra max 400 (36) £12
HP5 £7
Which all beat online so I’ll no longer be searching elsewhere for film stock :)

Popped in to test a Nikon mirrorless. Max was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

Excellent, comprehensive advice without a sales pitch.

Bought the camera and will definitely use Canterbury Camera Centre when I'm ready for some new lenses.

Thanks Max!

Excellent photographic shop, always very helpful. Good selection of cameras and binoculars. All the associated services available. Support the independent retailers.

I always try and keep things local. I've been using these guys (but mainly Jan) for help with purchases and repairs over the years. Their product knowledge cannot be faulted.

I absolutely love this shop and the wonderful people who work here! Every time I visit they are so helpful and kind - they clearly care a great deal about photography as well as knowing a lot about it. I've bought film here and had it processed, bought a lens and a used film camera (the Yashica-A in the photo) - which Max patiently talked me through how to use! In addition to new and used digital and film cameras, they have a range of film and materials for home processing. They process b&w onsite and send colour off, so that takes a bit longer but I'm fine with that as I want to support this lovely independent business. There's also a sense of community here, which I really appreciate - customers having a chat with each other and recommendations from staff of local darkrooms and courses to go on. I always look forward to my visits!
