We were welcomed by very friendly staff upon our arrival, given a leaflet of site rules, a takeaway menu of the restaurant next door and then showed to our pitch. The pitch was on leveled grass and clean and tidy, unfortunately we was quite near to where the grass cuttings were deposited so we did get the odd whiff of rotting grass but it wasn't too pungent or off putting.

The facilities were clean and tidy and fit for purpose, not the best but not the worst, my family member pointed out that when he had a shower the door lock looked as though someone had tried forcing it open some how before hand and bent the locking mechanism.

The rules on site are fair, one such rule is a quite time after 11pm for the benefit of other campers, the small group of my party in which we are all night owls felt a little as though we was on egg shells as to not disturb other campers as we boiled water for a tea at night and indulged in snacks and food.

We were able to go out and see our family and friends, enjoy what Great Yarmouth had to offer and not worry about any time restrictions in which we had to return to our tent.

As per the site rules we were packed up and left site by 11am on the day of our departure.

We noticed the staff member who greeted us upon our arrival went above and beyond to help out a fellow camper who was in need of some help, this was very heart warming and a big reason for the four stars.

We stayed at The Grange with our friends for the weekend to see The Moochers show. Vicki was brilliant. On arrival she showed us to our pitch, was friendly and very welcoming. Ricky was also really nice, helpful and friendly too. Nothing was too much trouble..lovely people.
Showers were great! Clean, hot and water pressure was really good. Campsite was very clean and well managed with all amenities needed on site. Nice beach within walking distance. We had a great time on the Saturday. We didn't want to go home so stayed an extra night. Found a little gem and will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

Just back from a 4 night stay, park not as good as used to be with previous owners, reception not stocked with food items anymore, tried to buy milk and was told they only sell in a breakfast pack which contained long life milk, 3 slices of bacon, 4 sausages, tin tomatoes, beans,4 slices of mouldy bread and frozen butter for £5! Near the end of our stay we heard the wardens talking to each other (while I was washing up) that they had just turned down a booking as they had kids! “We don’t like to have kids on our site, we send them to another” (I was there with kids! Had booked online) wardens not interested on new comers to the site they’re only friendly to there regulars (we’ve been here the past 3 years, it first time with the new wardens) there’s also a stray cat that likes to let itself into your tent and eat what ever is there, which also brought us a few mice too!! We also paid extra for 2 cars and was told we cannot park both on our pitch, We have been put off coming back to this site now and will be looking elsewhere.

What a great place for campervans and camping. The staff were friendly and welcoming, handing out a few menus from the local eateries. Its family friendly with a playground for the little ones. The toilet & shower block is cleaned and maintained throughout the day.

I would definitely recommend this one 👍👍👍

P.S. Thanks for the tent 😉

Wow, what can I say about this campsite ... this is the second year running we have been here. This time we stayed for a week, we were a group of 8 and the new Wardens Vicky and Ricky have improved this site so much. They both go out of their way to help you. The shower and wishing up areas are constantly being cleaned. Vicky never stops working, she was still working one night past 10pm. Nothing is too much trouble for this couple, they are a credit to the owners.
Thank you both for making our holiday!

Excellent site with good clean showers and toilets, had a wonderful few days here. Had our evening meals with a drink at the Grange Hotel which is right next to the camp site. A big thanks George and Audrey for such a well kept site. Will definitely camp here again. Paul 2017
